For the first time in Azerbaijan, an international certificate meeting European standards for the "Barber" profession was presented to internally displaced persons.

Beneficiaries who successfully completed training in the "barber" profession within the framework of the "Improving the Living Conditions of Internally Displaced Persons in Azerbaijan" project, implemented by Accelerated Career Academy upon the request of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, participated in an international certification exam.

The certification process was organized by Accelerated Career Academy in cooperation with the Vocational Qualification Institution of the Republic of Turkey (MYK) and TÜRKAK-accredited company “Lonca Belgelendirme”. 9 internally displaced persons participated in the exam and confirmed both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

As a result of the exam, the successful participants received an international professional certificate with a Europass supplement, recognized in more than 50 European countries. This certificate is of great importance in terms of accelerating their integration into the labor market and ensuring access to wider job opportunities. In the next stage of the project, it is planned to implement international certification programs in other professional fields. The goal is to confirm the professional skills of internally displaced persons and further increase their employment opportunities.
